A Message from the President
We have made it to Season 4! Thank you all for your support and your attendance. It is you that have made this all possible.
This year will be very, very different form our previous seasons. We begin with a Spook-tacular Halloween Concert, complete with Singers and other surprises, scary, spooky music, and an intermission to match! Our Christmas concert will contain all the usual special events; the children will get to play with the orchestra, we have our "Special Guest" coming, and we will be performing a piece for Narrator and Orchestra, that is sure to please. Special "Family Pricing" is available for both of these concerts.
Then the SteelTown Symphony Woodwinds & Brass will WOW you with a concert that is all about the winds! We will be joined by the HMCS Star Band, as our guests, and the repertoire will include many of the best concert band pieces around! The remainder of the season will be just as unique and as much fun and good music as we can muster! We are adding a matinee' performance for Concert 4, "Music and It's Effect" with special pricing for the matinee'.
We have added a special event this year, "Swing, Swing, Swing" which will feature Jazz and Swing music for your listening pleasure. We will be inviting a number of different groups to be a part of this and I am sure that you will love it. It will be an exciting and delightful evening.
I hope that you will join us for as many of these concerts as possible. We are working hard for you, in anticipation of our best season yet!
