Do I need to audition for the orchestra or singers?
Yes you do need to audition for both. Membership to either group is tenured after 1 successful audition.
How much does it cost to be in the Orchestra or Singers?
Dues for membership in either group is $50 per person, per season
Dues for membership in both groups is $75 per person, per season
What is the average time commitment?
Each group requires 1 Saturday per week from September till June
Most concerts are given on Saturdays at 7:30pm
There is some flexibility to be had at the discretion of the group’s director.
When do you rehearse?
The choir rehearses Saturdays 3:30pm – 5:00pm
The orchestra rehearses Saturdays 12:30pm – 3:30pm

What do I have to bring with me?
Music stand, any music given to you, your instrument, a good attitude and work ethic.
Is there a dress code?
Our dress code is generally black on black, females are permitted to wear skirts or dresses providing they reach the knee.
Dress codes can change depending on the concert theme.
Are there any benefits to student?
Each season 1 scholarship is awarded to a student attending a post-secondary institution for musical studies.
